SPEAKEASY was a Stuttgart based night club for hip hop and electro subculture.
My former fellow student Hartmut Ulmer and I were deeply involved in the developent and realization of the room- and light concept for the club. In addition to video drink menus on permanently installed retro tube TVs, an 8×3 metre LED wall was installed on the club stage.
I designed and developed a realtime-rendered, audioreactive live visual set specifically for this LED wall. Until January 2013 I was the clubs resident vj.
Due to club politics the SPEAKEASY unfortunately ceased to exist in the beginning of February 2013.
